The oil analysis vacuum pump extracts samples from a dipstick, or non-pressurized system. The oil analysis pump is attached to the sample jar; a tube is inserted into the pump, and then into the dipstick or reservoir about halfway. The pump handle should be activated until the sample jar is about ¾ full. 1/4″ tubing is available separately. This is the best way to get an accurate oil sample.
